I have been a qualified accountant since 1999. Once qualified I worked for a large firm of accountants, specialising in start-up businesses and setting up systems that were unique to each business. During this time I was responsible for installing accounting software into the business and where necessary training staff on how to input the financial information onto the system as well as print the various reports to provide key financial information.

Over the more recent years I have been working within some of the most demanding sectors as a Management Accountant providing financial information to the owners of the business. I have looked at all the Key Performance Indicators on a monthly basis and have provided reports that allow the decision makers to address issues that may impact on the profitability of the business. These roles have included the overall responsibility for the day to day running of the financial function of the business and providing ad-hoc financial advice as required by the owners. In my latest role I was responsible for overseeing the entire financial department, managing external auditors as well as producing budgets and year end accounts for presentation to the Inland Revenue.

The roles that I have taken have evolved to include such areas as Human Resources, implementing systems to meet with ISO 90001 accreditation requirements, Financial Contract drafting for presentation to third parties.

In my various roles over the years i have obtained skill and knowledge that will ensure that the day to day management of your accounting function will exceed your expectations. When working with new businesses the skills I have gathered will ensure that the systems put in place will take away the burden from you of the increasing financial demands on your time as your business grows.
